LLTech imaging systems enable digital pathology on fresh or fixed tissue

LLTech technology uses light to take optical biopsies beneath the surface of the tissue under analysis.

Images are captured and displayed within minutes using a non-destructive process.

Images have 1 µm resolution in all three dimensions, and 3D views can be manipulated using a standard DICOM viewer.

No tissue preparation, modification, or staining of any kind is needed.

LLTech technology could be used to improve cancer and dermatological identification and surgery

Better practices for the physician:
• In cancer surgery (breast…), surgical margins, sentinel nodes could be analyzed within minutes.
• In dermatology, the doctor could be capable of differentiating melanoma and carcinoma in real time without excision. Patient comfort is improved and health costs decrease with the reduction in duration and repetition of procedures.

LLTech imaging devices open up new research opportunities

New research opportunities and improved productivity are offered thanks to direct imaging of tissue structure beneath the surface.
